Allevio
A mental health companion designed to feel like support, not a clinical test.

Challenge
Social stigma stops people from seeking mental health help, and most wellness apps greet vulnerable users with the coldness of a clinical intake form. Allevio's brief was a safe, accessible, non-judgmental space that encourages early awareness of one's own wellbeing.
Approach
Working in a three-person design team, I mapped a user journey that reads like a supportive conversation rather than a test — a calming interface built to reduce anxiety, and a self-assessment flow simple enough to check in on your mental state without feeling overwhelmed.
Result
A complete Figma prototype and design guidebook covering assessment, meditation, sleep stories, and an AI companion in one coherent, calm system — and a lasting lesson in placing the user's emotional state at the center of every design decision, from color choices to the wording of a single button.
